Day 1: Cusco Departure / Arrival to Cusipata:
Our tour begins when we pick you up at 6pm from your hotel and arrive at our Lodge “Cusipata River Lodge” at 7:30pm.
In our Lodge we will enjoy a delicious dinner to spend the night lulled by the waters of the Urubamba River.

Day 2: Cusipata to Rainbow Mountain “Vinicunca”:
Our great adventure to the Rainbow Mountain, begins very early in the morning at 6:00 am; enjoying the fresh air of the Peruvian Andes and having our breakfast prepared by our Local Chefs.
Our driver will take us to an altitude of 3900 meters above sea level.
Our exciting hike will last 1 hour and a half, will be accompanied by beautiful landscapes, where we will nourish our body and soul with fresh air. reaching the summit of the Rainbow Mountain “Vinicunca” at 7:30 am, this time we will not find many people so you can take the best photos and get the most unforgettable memories.
After our visit, where we will be able to share beautiful moments with the local residents, besides playing and taking pictures with the local llamas and alpacas (Any economic support for the local people is welcome). Then at 9:30 am we will depart to our Private Lodge where the rafting adventure awaits us.
Upon arrival we will be able freshen up and prepare for our rafting adventure on the Urubamba River; where we will obtain our professional rafting equipment and begin our great Class III rapids rafting adventure.
Back to our Private Lodge you will be able to enjoy our private Sauna and hot water; in addition to savoring a delicious and healthy Andean vegetable soup and chicken stew with rice. If you wish, our local chef can prepare a special vegetarian diet for you. And to complete your great adventure dare to cross the Urubamba River in our Zipline; the adrenaline is here!.

About the Vinicunca
One of the most magnificent geologic features in the world is the Ausangate Mountain of the Peruvian Andes. The mountain is striped with colors ranging from turquoise to lavender to maroon and gold. However, this “painted mountain” is notoriously difficult to find and get to, requiring several days of hiking to reach its peak deep within the Andes by way of Cusco.
